The Sacred Women’s Retreat is a Remembering..

A returning home, to ourselves, other women and Mother Earth. It is an invitation to step into the fullness of your Divine feminine essence, surrounded by the serenity of nature and embraced by the loving support of sisterhood. In the womb of the Mother we gather, surrounded by Portugese mountains, rivers and waterfalls. Offering you a supportive sanctuary where you are seen, held, embraced, heard and loved.

Together we create a safe space of unconditional love to show up raw and authentically, with open hearts. Each day will be a tapestry of soulful, authentic and nurturing practices that honour and awaken the Sacred feminine within you.

A day at the sanctuary..

A dreamlike journey of deep heartfelt connection, remembering and awakening. Integration with deep rest, falling asleep under the stars, only to rise to the immersive sounds and smells of Mother Nature, chirping birds, the warmth of the sun and the sounds of the river close by.

Allowing your body to waken through an embodied Yoga flow and opening your heart to the beauty of the present moment. Cultivating inner stillness and a grounding presence through guided Meditations and practices.

Your days and early evenings are consciously filled with Women’s Wisdom workshops, Ceremonies, Rituals and sharing Circles. With enough time to explore and adventure the beautiful lands around Cara Creek, surrounded by a waterfall, private rivers and forrest hikes. Or enjoy time to relax, integrate and journal by the natural swimming pool and sauna.

Throughout the day you’ll be nurtured and held, with nutritious healing foods to fall into dream state under the stars again..

My name is Manouk, and I’m so grateful our paths crossed. I’m here to inspire you to live more connected to your body, your Self and Mother Earth. To guide you through your Yoga & Meditation practice, Healing & Ceremony.

It is my path to inspire, be of service and work as a portal for you to blossom to wholeness. From head to heart we venture - listening, remembering and feeling. I’m devoted to live life in Ceremony, as every act is a ceremony of devotion to remember. To remind you of your infinite feminine power, our cyclic natures, natures connection. I am here to remind you of your light as I walk you through your darkness.

A long diagnosis of Ulcerative Colitis was the catalyst for me to begin the conscious journey of reconnecting to my body and moon cycle. My natural healing journey is the womb of all creation and the inspiration behind all my deep-felt share for remembering.

The Venue:
Cara Creek Eco Lodge, Portugal

Welcome to the majestic Portugese valley where two rivers meet ~ Cara Creek. To retreat here is to retreat in the soothing embrace of Pachamama herself. Created in symbiosis with the lands beauty, using solely natural materials and maintaining a low carbon footprint, Cara Creek offers an abundantly sustainable sanctuary surrounded by Life and build with Love. The perfect sanctuary to retreat, breathe, rest, move, feel, nurture, heal, gather, explore and be held.. by the Earth, the river, the warmth of the sun and the lush forrest. So close to my heart as we meet in values, I’m so excited for you to feel and see this special place in Portugal!

Natural Swimming Pool
Overlooking the valley and surrounding woodland. The swimming pool is kept clear and chemical-free using a sand filter, UV filter, and diverse aquatic plants. 

Indoor & Outdoor Shala
With stunning views of the pool and soothing sounds of the river we gather here to practice Yoga, Meditate or hold a Ceremony.

Temezcal (Sweatlodge), Hot Tub & Sauna
A Hobbit-style wood-fired sauna and solar powered hot tub with the pool close by to cool off in between sessions.

Communal Spaces
For a break from nature's elements, we have cozy communal dining spaces and chill-out areas. Grab a cup of tea, a good book, and cuddle up with one of the animals.

Private River with Waterfall & Forest
With our own private river beach and nearby waterfall and lush green forest hikes. With river clay mud baths and paddle boarding along the river.

Garden to Table Meals
Organic garden to table meals prepared with so much love and intention throughout the retreat. Grown mostly in their own garden.

Accommodation options

 An absolute dream to be sleeping to the sensations of nature & stars in a cozy bed in a sacred geometry inspired Eco-Pod. With shared sustainable flushing vermi-compost toilets, dry compost toilets and solar powered showers.

Penta Pod (private)

These pentagonal shaped structures have a small window and a door that rolls up so you can admire the view from your cozy bed, or lounge on the large private deck! This beautiful space contains one single bed.

Inspired by the simplest 3D shape found in nature - the Tetrahedron. The walls reach 6 meters high to a clear top, and they have a large window with amazing views. Inside you’ll find one double bed.

Nourishment

Daily organic, fresh, garden to table, plant based meals prepared with so much love and intention to nourish your body throughout the retreat.   • There are no requirements for The Sacred Women’s Retreat. Truly every woman is welcome! No matter your age, background and experience with Women’s Circles, Ceremonies, Retreats or level with Yoga and Meditation. The level of the retreat will be adjusted to the experience of the women who are joining.

  • Yes! We can find a suitable plan for your needs and desires. For example: Penta Pod 4x €333. Please reach out for payment plan options. We can adjust it to your needs.

  • Fly to Porto or Lisbon in the morning or the night before. Once arrived in Lisbon or Porto you can take a train or bus to Coimbra B. (advice to take the train). Here we will pick you up with a scheduled shuttle (included).

  • Check in - Once we have gathered all the flight informations, we will schedule a shuttle from Coimbra B to Cara Creek. (This takes one hour). Expectations to be at Coimbra around 13:00 on June 6. (Exact times to follow once space is confirmed).

    Check out - The checkout is June 11 after breakfast at 10am. The (included) shuttle will drive you back to the train station at Coimbra B.

  • Manouk facilitated the Yoga for a week at our surf & Yoga holiday in Biscarrosse, France. Once I arrived at the first class I immediately felt safe, something I find very important in Yoga.
